BBL - Brezilian Hips
In recent years, the number of people who want to achieve a fuller and more shaped appearance has been increasing. One of the most popular among these requests is the procedure known as Brazilian Buttock Aesthetics (BBL). This surgical method, inspired by Brazilian culture, has increased its popularity in recent years. So, what is BBL and how is it done?
How to Do BBL?
The BBL process usually takes place in three stages:
1. Fat Removal (Liposuction): The process usually begins with fat removal from areas such as the abdomen, waist, back or thighs. Excess fat in these areas is carefully sucked out through a thin cannula. This process also shapes other parts of the body and provides a more pronounced body contour.
2. Fat Processing: The extracted fat is processed to obtain pure fat cells. In this process, fat cells and living cells are carefully separated, thus obtaining the most suitable fat for injection.
3. Injection (Graft): The pure fat obtained is carefully injected into the desired areas of the buttocks. The surgeon injects fat at strategic points to shape the buttocks into the desired shape and size. This procedure is used to lift, shape and plump the buttocks.
Who is BBL Suitable for?
BBL is generally suitable for people who want to increase buttock volume, shape and lift. However, it may not be suitable for everyone. For those who have a healthy body mass index (BMI) but have fat accumulation in a particular area and want to enlarge their hips, BBL may be an ideal option. However, it may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, have chronic health conditions, or are taking certain medications.
Recovery and Results After BBL
After the BBL procedure, patients may often experience swelling and mild discomfort for a few days. Compression garments and rest applied to the surgical area can speed the healing process. While the swelling subsides within the first few weeks, the results gradually become apparent and healing is complete within a few months.
Differences between Brazilian Butt and Silicone Butt
Although Brazilian Hip Surgery and Silicone Hip Prosthesis are two methods used to shape and plump the hip area, there are many differences from each other.
Brazilian Butt Surgery is performed by injecting fat tissue taken from the body into the buttocks. In this process, fat is removed from the body by liposuction, processed and then injected into the desired areas. This method offers a natural look and increases the shape and fullness of the hips while also providing slimming by removing fat from the body.
Silicone Hip Prosthesis is performed by placing silicone implants in the hips. In this method, implants are placed under the buttocks through a surgical incision. Silicone hip implants enlarge buttocks more quickly and significantly, but may not be as effective as Brazilian Butt Surgery in providing a natural appearance.
Since Brazilian Hip Surgery is performed by using the body’s own fat tissue, it reduces risks such as allergy or tissue rejection and allows a more natural result to be achieved, while Silicone Hip Prosthesis can offer faster results and allow more precise control of the size of the implant.
In conclusion, Brazilian Butt Surgery and Silicone Hip Prosthesis are two different hip shaping methods, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. Which method is preferred may vary depending on the person’s preferences, body structure and surgical purpose.
Is BBL Permanent?
Brazilian Buttock (BBL) surgery is performed by transferring fat cells to the buttock, and the majority of these cells are permanent. This ensures that the buttocks are fuller and more shaped after surgery. However, if a person gains or loses weight, body fat may also change. In this case, weight control is important because excessive weight gain or loss can affect the appearance of the hips. On the other hand, silicone hip replacement surgery involves placing implants in the buttocks. These implants permanently increase the volume of the hip after surgery and are an option in which fat cells are not affected.
